The Banquet Supervisor oversees banquet staff and operations during events, ensuring impeccable service and guest satisfaction. With a keen eye for detail and strong leadership skills, they coordinate with staff, serve banquet guests, set-up/clean-up events, and uphold our quality standards to create memorable experiences for guests. This is a part-time position, working a few times each month when banquets are scheduled. This role offers $10.00 per hour plus tips.
Banquet Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee and assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and according to plan Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff, to ensure they adhere to company standards and provide exceptional service Direct banquet staff during events, assigning duties, and providing guidance to ensure efficient and professional service Address any issues or concerns that arise during events, making quick decisions to resolve them and maintain guest satisfaction Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate event details, expectations, and any special requirements to the team Provide ongoing support and direction to staff throughout events, addressing any performance issues or training needs as necessary Interact with guests during events, ensuring their needs are met and any requests are handled promptly and professionally Keep management informed of event progress and challenges, providing regular updates as needed Other duties as assigned What are we looking for?
