Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced audiologist to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for patients of all ages. Vestibular evaluations, including, VNG, VEMPs, and vHIT Diagnose and treat BPPV Cochlear implant evaluations and mapping (experience preferred) Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnosis. Develop individualized treatment plans, including hearing aid recommendations and fittings. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and their families on hearing health, treatment options and communication strategies. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Stay current with advancements in audiology research, technology and best practices. Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution. Current state licensure as an audiologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred Minimum of (1) years of clinical experience in a similar setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficient with audiometric testing equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Schedule: Part-time position 2 days per week, 8 hours per day Potential for additional hours based on patient demand and practice needs.
