Responsibilities + Duties:
· Deliver uncommon hospitality and excellent customer experience by greeting, engaging and guiding guests through menu options.
· Place orders for guests using POS systems. Menu knowledge is required.
· Must be of age to sell and serve alcoholic beverages. Trained and certified under state law requirements.
· Create positive first impressions that build loyalty in return guests
· Knowledgeable about current promotions and menu items
· Support quick table turns along with great safety and sanitation practices while bussing and cleaning tables throughout the shift
· Answer phones, take orders and deliver exceptional service during potential to-go shifts
Qualifications + Skills:
· Ability to work nights and weekends
· Must be able to work a full-time schedule with overtime based on the restaurant's business needs and operational requirements.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 lbs. as needed
· Must have a courteous, energetic, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
FOH Ambassador Pay Range: $12.00/Hour - $16.80 / Hour
ADA Statement: Whataburger represents a fast-casual dining experience. Dining room may be crowded at peak periods. Speed is essential in serving customers at any time. There is no provision for sitting down while on duty. Passage ways between dining room & kitchen may be narrow. Work in close proximity to hot surfaces & sharp tools.
