Job Title: PARKING SUPERVISOR Department: Parking Reports To: Parking Manager Rate of Pay: $22.00/ hour Shift: 8AM-430PM but may vary Weekends, holidays and special events are required based on business needs. Full Time Year Round FLSA Status: Non-Exempt SUMMARY The Parking Supervisor ensures that vehicles, parking lots, and employees are ready to create a positive sense of arrival for Sundance guests. Sundance relies heavily on vehicles and equipment in order to operate and ensure staff can perform their job duties and that guests are able to move around the resort. The mechanical and aesthetic condition of these vehicles can greatly impact the guest experience as well as our ability to efficiently keep the resort running. Maintenance, Repair and Care for these vehicles is critical to our success and will be a big part of this candidate's job.
PARKING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure that parking lots are free of garbage and debris each day.
Maintain a consistent weekly sweeping schedule of all parking lots.
Provide strong leadership to all Parking Ambassadors.
Maintain striping in all lots to ensure that it's visible and effective.
Assist in overseeing all signage in parking lots to ensure that they're all in place, well maintained and repaired/replaced where necessary.
Work with Manager to ensure department is staffed appropriately for anticipated daily business levels.
Work closely with 3rd party vendors on our paid parking program to ensure it runs smoothly for Sundance and our guests.
Ensure that we have proper shuttle coverage based on projected events and business levels so that we can efficiently move guests.
Work with Manager to ensure a pool of at least 3 CDL drivers.
Assist in scheduling, communicating, and running the No Drive Days each winter. Arrange proper vehicles pre-season for these events.
Work with Marketing each Fall to ensure the Sundance App is up to date and training is done to update App with parking status during winter months.
Sense of arrival is critical for the quality of our guest's experience. Ensure that Parking Ambassadors are well trained on Customer Service and are knowledgeable on ALL resort happenings so that they can effectively assist guests as they arrive to Sundance.

Exhibit job and product knowledge to accurately support and promote all Sundance departments, amenities and programming ventures.

Protect Sundance assets.
Be a positive ambassador of Sundance inside and outside of work.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Complete all applicable paperwork for the above responsibilities and submit to HR in a timely manner.
ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT Support and participate in environmental programs associated with position, for example: minimize waste, recycle, conserve energy, purchase and use sustainable products, educate co-workers/guests on environmental ethic, support vendors with similar environmental ethic, decrease pollution levels, minimize the use of toxic chemicals, restore wildlife habitats. All employees are invited to participate in the Green Team and/or any Green Team sponsored events.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school, GED, or equivalent required and 3 to 5 years related experience, education and, or training. Must have at least 2 years previous supervisory experience in related industry. Commercial Driver License is preferred, but not required at time of offer (class and training may be provided) and must have previous vehicle fleet maintenance and operation experience
TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS Must possess a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, internet navigation and electronic mail.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid U.S. Drivers' License in good standing as determined by Sundance's Insurance Company guidelines,
Commercial Drivers' License with passenger rating, Class C, if driving mini-bus off property.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnishes in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
