Job Summary:
As a Paraprofessional Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs within the educational setting. Working closely with special education teachers, certified teachers, and school administrators, you will implement tailored instruction and support to meet the individualized needs of students. Your role will be instrumental in helping students achieve the goals outlined in their Individual Educational Plans (IEP).
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teachers to deliver instruction tailored to meet the needs and goals of students' IEPs.
Utilize assistive technology and varied teaching methods to support student learning.
Co-teach and collaborate with colleagues to share strategies for modifications, accommodations, and interventions.
Coordinate with Special Education Teachers to ensure compliance with IEP goals and objectives.
Assess students' progress and facilitate preparation for standardized tests.
Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and stakeholders regarding student performance and progress.
Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with company and district requirements.
Participate in professional development and school committee work as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required; Associates Degree and/or Paraprofessional Certificate preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience supporting students or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to pass a background check.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based tools.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for meetings and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an online school setting.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: Anticipated hourly range of $20.02/hr (Non-Exempt). Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Salary is determined based on factors including education, experience, and geographic location.

Work Environment:
This position is virtual with occasional travel required for meetings and professional development.
