TECH IIIJOB SUMMARY:Provides technical skills needed to support the daily operation of the assigned Entertainment parade, including driving, towing, guiding, and supporting Entertainment Floats. Ensures technical show quality and a positive guest experience by applying intermediate level knowledge in use of float movement and placement.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the daily operation of the technical elements within the assigned Entertainment Parades. This includes Safely driving float units over 30 feet in length with an internal driver compartment and operating system and/or an external vehicle that tows a float unit. Safely maneuver obstacles both backstage and onstage. Adhere to predetermined driving locations, paths and speeds while maintaining communication and direction. Assisting with float loading as needed.Responsible for the careful operations of float through designated parade route, maintaining proper speed and spacing as directed by show direction and training.Responsible for completing pre- and post-show checks. Ensures proper completion of all technical documentation, to include daily checklists, FYI and other such documentation.Assist with the appropriate maintenance and inventory of venue equipment/supplies as assigned for proper operation, organization, and cleanliness. Ensure safe and clean environment both on and off floats.
