Pallet/Crate Assembler

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Pallet/Crate Assembler position with a packaging manufacturer located in Tualatin, OR. This position is full-time with current openings on day and swing shift! The person in this position will produce crates and pallets to shipping requirements and customer specifications. PAY: $19-$21/hr Pallet/Crate Assembler Responsibilities: Determine job requirements on crates to be produced. Operate hand and power tools. Operate measuring tools. Locate and pull materials required to complete job. Produce the product from the Bill of Materials (BOM), which accompanies the blueprint and describes the production procedure. Notify supervisor of any material or mechanical issues. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pallet/Crate Assembler Requirements: Ability to work individually and as a team member. Ability to use a variety of tools, staple/nail guns, glue rollers, power screw driver, drill press, chop saw, band saw, tape measure. Ability to read and follow directions. Mechanical aptitude to operate machines is a plus. Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (employer is THC friendly). Pallet/Crate Assembler Benefits & Schedule: $19-$21/hr Must be able to work Monday through Friday day shift 7AM-3:30PM with overtime schedules of 5AM-3:30PM and occasional Saturday hours OR swing shift: 3:30PM-12:00AM with overtime schedules of 3:30PM-2AM and occasional Saturday shift hours (1:30PM-10PM).
