Packager

Now hiring Packagers for a manufacturing company in Akron for 1 st shift, 8:30am – 5pm. Monday – Friday.
Weekly pay at $16 per hour.
The Packager is responsible for securely packing products, printing the appropriate labeling, and shrink-wrapping pallets for secure transportation.
Job Duties: Conduct quality inspections for products to identify potential damage. Pack, wrap, and label products for shipment. Ensure orders are accurate and complete before shipping. Operate warehouse equipment such as conveyors, scanners, and pallet jacks. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety procedures and guidelines. Any other task requested by a supervisor. Requirements: Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted and consistently. Ability to stand and walk on concrete for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Punctual with an outstanding attendance history. Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment. Previous experience in a similar role is required. Applicants must have their own transportation and submit a resume.
