P.E. Teacher Hrs A Week Private School

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical fitness and education, a commitment to promoting health and fitness among students, and the ability to create engaging and inclusive lessons. PE classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30 am to 1:00 pm Hourly pay begins at $40 per hour ($60 per day) Journey follows the CCSD 9-month school calendar. Position begins August 13, 2024. Mandatory training August 6, 2024 Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education curriculum for kindergarten through 8 th grade students. Plan and conduct engaging physical education classes that promote the development of motor skills, coordination, and physical fitness. Teach students the importance of regular exercise, healthy lifestyle choices, and sportsmanship. Organize and supervise outdoor and indoor physical activities, including games, sports, and exercises. Assess students' physical abilities and progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and succeed. Communicate with parents about students' progress and participation in physical education activities. Maintain accurate records of student's attendance, performance, and behavior in physical education classes. Organize and implement annual field day. Job Requirements: Degree or equivalent education in related field of physical education. Minimum one year of experience teaching children. Professional in appearance and work performance. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents. Ability to manage students in a positive, controlled manner. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
