Our client in Carson CIty NV is seeking an Organizational Change Manager to join the Orion Program supporting several Project Initiatives to streamline/modernize/improve the customer and internal user experience for their  Online Business Licensing Management services . The Organizational Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Organizational Change Manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, return on investment (ROI) and the achievement of results and outcomes.
They understand the concepts of business goals, objectives and business outcomes, business capabilities, value-streams, and business processes and their importance in Organizational Change management. The Organizational Change Manager provides the necessary leadership to ensure that our Orion Portfolio solutions meet business needs, help our teams quickly adapt and adopt the new processes required to support the Orion Portfolio program changes. They create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan to ensure the Orion Portfolio drives the targeted business outcomes and is successful in improving the internal and external user experience for our Online Business Licensing Management services.
The Organizational Change Manager will demonstrate competencies across the following areas of responsibility: Apply the structured ADKAR methodology to lead change management activities. This represents the five outcomes an individual needs to achieve for a change to be successful: Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, and Reinforcement. Assess the change impact, both internally and externally, for our Orion Portfolio. Create the Change Management strategy for the Orion Program effort. Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics. Identify and manage anticipated resistance. Consult and coach project teams. Support communication efforts for the Orion Portfolio. Support training efforts. This role will be responsible for delivering our: Stakeholder Analysis, Communication plan, Training plan and Change Management plan. Integrate change management activities into our project plans for each Orion Project (we have ~28 projects within the Orion Portfolio) that will need change management support to increase the change adoption rate and project success. Coach managers and supervisors on how to best support the changes the Orion Program will bring to their direct reports and help their teams successfully manage adoption of the new processes and workflows, which their teams will use. Support organization design and definition of roles and responsibilities. Coordinate efforts with other specialists in the Orion Portfolio. Evaluate and ensure user readiness. Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress. Support change management at the organizational level – Enterprise Change Management. Manage the Portfolio change load, to ensure successful implementation and adoption rates for all involved. 2. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Organizational Behavior, Business Management, or a related area of study or equivalent experience. Change Management certification or designation desired: Prosci Certification a plus. Demonstrated experience with large-scale organizational change efforts. 3-5 years of Organizational Change Management experience. Communicates clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, with project team members and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and deliver requested deliverables on time. Excellent written and verbal skills. Demonstrated can-do attitude. Must be a team-player and able to work collaboratively with and through others. Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization. Excellent Active listening skills. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Moves quickly to address unexpected problems or opportunities. Forward-looking with a holistic approach. Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams. Other: Percentage of time worked On-site/Off-site: 85% on site work (with 15% remote work.) Local candidates required Required Travel: The Orion program budget will cover project related travel, when needed.
