Description:
Markon is currently seeking a Oracle Database Administrator to support one of our Intelligence Community customers for sustainment effort of COTS application.
Duties include:
Maintain the operational integrity of the Oracle Primavera application, ensuring the application is running efficiently, securely and is well integrated.Regularly update and patch the Oracle Primavera application to ensure it is secure and running the latest features.Continuously monitor the application's performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.Quickly respond to and resolve any issues that arise within the application, minimizing downtime and disruption to users.Provide technical support to users of the Oracle Primavera application, assisting with any queries or problems they may encounter.Ensure that the Oracle Primavera application is seamlessly integrated with other systems and services, including those hosted on AWS.Utilize Java for customization, troubleshooting and enhancing the functionality of Oracle Primavera application.Utilize Java for managing the application's backend processes and potential customizations.Utilize AWS to manage and configure cloud resourcesOversee cloud infrastructure that supports the Oracle Primavera Application to ensure scalability and security.Maintain comprehensive documentation of the system's configuration, customizations, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.Job Requirements
Requirements include:
Proficiency in Oracle Primavera including a deep understanding of its architecture and components.Proficiency in SQL is required for database management tasksHeavy experience in Java programmingExperience with AWSStrong background in managing and maintaining applications to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.Experience in managing databases and COTS applications.Ability to write complex queries, optimize database performance, and ensure data integrity.
