Optometrist Needed

Currently seeking an Optometrist for a retail eye practice to provide top notch, high quality patient care. Must be licensed as an Optometrist in the state of MN.
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55402
Job Responsibilities:
-Perform thorough ocular examinations
-provide treatments for eye diseases and trauma.
-Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage disorders of the visual system, eye diseases, and injuries.
-Perform eye exams and analyze test results.
-Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness and eye diseases, such as glaucoma.
-Prescribe eyeglasses and medications.
-Provide pre- and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgery
-Evaluate patients for the presence of diseases such as diabetes and refer patients to other healthcare practitioner if additional medical treatment is needed.
-Promote eye health by counseling patients.
-maintain office compliance with OSHA and HIPAA laws
Qualifications:
-Licensed as an Optometrist in the state of MN
-Have an OD degree from an accredited school or university
-Treat both children and adults
-Enter chart notes for each patient
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong leadership qualities
