Responsibilities
• Operate and troubleshoot various production equipment• Communicate effectively with other technicians and managers• Work with Operations Team Leader and various departments• Adhere to safety and EOHS standards• Perform work at heights of up to 300 ft• Complete tasks in confined and hazardous spaces• Use hazardous materials• Bend, climb, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs on a continual basis• Perform tasks in extreme weather conditions• Travel up to 5% if required
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• 1+ years of manufacturing experience• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly• Willingness to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends• Ability to wear Fall Protection Equipment and other PPE• Ability to work on a ladder or in mechanical lift at height levels of approximately 30-40 ft• Technical college/vocational school certificate or Associates degree preferred• 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred• Experience troubleshooting and repairing technical issues• Food safety experience• Fork Lift experience• Experience with SAP• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer• Tolerance for food processing smells and non-climate controlled work environment• Ability to clearly and effectively express ideas• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills• Self-directed with results-oriented attitude• Planning and organizational skills• Ability to perform physical tasks and use hazardous materials
