Operations Manager

Job summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, directing and managing a manufacturing value streamResponsible for achieving operating goals and objectives consistent with plant and division objectivesDirects the safe manufacture of products at the lowest cost consistent with established specifications, quality, quantity and delivery
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Improve productivity and decrease waste through continuous improvement initiatives• Increase labor efficiency and utilization• Optimize inventory turns and reduce aged board inventory• Execute Voice of Customer initiatives at the facility level• Achieve on-time delivery targets• Drive successful onboarding of new and transfer business• Ensure customer specifications are consistently met or exceeded• Meet environmental, safety, working conditions, and cleanliness standards• Develop and implement processes to improve quality and reduce customer complaints• Manage spending, maintenance, and capital projects

• Ability to build high performing and collaborative teams• Technical and problem-solving skills• Strong written and oral communication skills• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate people• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet skills• Lean Manufacturing experience a plus• Ability and desire to relocate within 1-3 years
