Overview: As an Operations Group Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition from equipment readiness to mass production ramp up phases. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and departments to optimize processes, resolve issues, and ensure that our vehicles meet the highest quality and performance standards. During production you will be overseeing and managing a group of hourly production employees.
Responsibilities:

Assist the operations manager in the development and execution of launch and production goals, including timelines, resource allocation and training plans. Assess manufacturing facilities, equipment, and personnel for readiness and scalability to achieve production targets. Collaborate with Quality Control teams to establish and maintain strict quality standards throughout the production process. Work hand and hand with manufacturing engineers in the development of production systems including operator efficiency, work instructions and quality check procedures. Manage and mentor a team of production personnel and technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement Set clear performance goals for the team and provide regular feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and motivation. Optimize the workflows to increase productivity, reduce cycle times, and enhance product quality while maintaining cost efficiency Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance, to align objectives and drive effective collaboration Prepare regular reports on production key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in robotics, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or a related field At least 4+ years of experience in the automotive or manufacturing environment. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and assembly flow. Ability to read and interpret system layouts, engineering drawings, and specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word ,Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Willingness to travel as required up to 25% of the time
