Job Summary
We are looking for an Operations & Events Intern to join our team at StoryBrand & Business Made Simple. The Operations & Events Intern will help support our operations team on a variety of projects including but not limited to: administrative projects, property management, and event coordination. The internship starts in May/June and goes through August. At the end of August, we will evaluate performance, position fit, and goals to determine an extension through December 2024 or May 2025.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Property Management
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all properties (ensure trash has been picked up, chairs have been straightened, refrigerator has been cleaned out, etc.) Maintain the organization of all supply and storage areas. Inventory supply items every two weeks and order any items that have an inventory below the par level.  Perform light property maintenance duties as needed (e.g. changing light bulbs). When needed, ship packages and books via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Event Coordination
Compile event specific BEOs (banquet, event, orders) and execute events according to BEO details. Be the onsite event coordinator at designated events. Oversee event setup and breakdowns, including room setups, arrangements, and AV setup as needed. Order attendee materials and gifts. Administrative 
Check PO Box twice a week and distribute mail to Office or Goose Hill as needed. Assist the Director of the Office of the CEO with special requests as needed (i.e. scheduling appointments, running errands, etc.)  Perform all other duties as assigned.

Currently enrolled in college (or recently graduated) Position Details
10-15 hours per week  Located in Nashville, TN  Hourly rate: $14/hour
