Operations Director

JOB SUMMARY Under general direction, the OD assumes line responsibility and authority for the administrative direction, evaluation, and coordination of the functions and activities of Imaging, Facilities Management, EVS, Dietary, Admissions and other key service lines responsibilities assigned while ensuring that operation objectives and financial results are in accord with the hospital's overall needs. In the absence of the hospital COO and/or as assigned, the OD represents the COO in coordinating entire portions of the hospital's organization, speaking and acting within the scope of objectives set forth in the practice and/or policy of the hospital. Will be responsible for delivering projects in alignment with hospital strategy and will execute special projects and assignments in alignment with the CEO.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or other related discipline from an accredited university required. Master's Degree preferred. Ten (10) years of progressive leadership in Healthcare preferred. Previous hospital experience required; in addition, surgery center experience is highly desired. Strong customer service, leadership and collaboration skills required. Excellent computer skills and thorough knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Critical thinking skills necessary to analyze data and synthesize complex information.
