The Operational Development Program (ODP) focuses on three functions: Production Supervision, Faurecia Excellence System (process and manufacturing standardization and efficiency), and Material Management. The program's content is built off of the academic knowledge received by the ODP Associate while completing their master's degree as well as the individual needs, capabilities and objectives of the apprentice. The program is designed to be a three-year commitment, consisting of (3) 9-12 month rotations that are cross functional. These rotation cycles and entry points are flexible to account for changes in staffing.
