A rapidly growing tech-based property management company located in Birmingham, AL is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join their dynamic team Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including quantities, values, and locations, to ensure optimal stock levels. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to uphold inventory accuracy. Analyze inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement. Coordinate with purchasing and operations teams to streamline inventory management processes. Implement inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Accounts Payable Processing: Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and timely payment. Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies in a timely manner. Communicate with vendors regarding invoice inquiries and payment status to maintain positive relationships. Generate accounts payable reports to monitor payment status and support financial reporting. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or data entry. Proficiency in ERP systems, with NetSuite experience preferred. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks. Proficiency in Excel and other computer skills.
