Operations Experience (OE) Schedulers manage the scheduling of the recurrent training for the pilots and flight attendants, ensuring they meet Company and FAA requirements.
Schedule all flight attendant and pilot OE training events, line checks, LCP observation flights, and any other required training events according to the training footprint of each seat and equipment. Schedule flights and hotels for crewmembers. Manage delays in training and reschedule when necessary. Coordinate with Instructors, Check Pilots and Flight Attendants, Crew Pay, Crew Planning and Staffing, Training Scheduling, Inflight and Flight Operations. Interpret and apply elements of the crew labor agreements and company policies to ensure compliance. Develop and track key measurements of productivity. Monitor current and future flight training schedule requirements to manage the ongoing training efforts and requalification efforts to maintain flight crew movement and currency. Computer work in a typical office environment, sitting for the majority of the day. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred 1 year of airline scheduling experience 2 years of scheduling experience preferred Knowledge of airline operations and crew training requirements Reliable and self-motivated with a positive attitude Ability to multi task efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills PC proficient in Microsoft Office products and general internet applications Experience with CrewTrac (preferred) Ability to work extra and on-call hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime Repetitive motion such as typing and phone work. Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
