Job DescriptionSeeking a postdoctoral associate or research associate position (depending on experience) in High Energy Theoretical Physics and String Theory in the Department of Physics at Virginia Tech. The focus of the position is on string theory, including string compactifications, sigma models, F-theory, effective theories and string geometry and phenomenology.Required QualificationsA strong background in string theory with a history of peer-reviewed publications is necessary.To be considered for the research associate position, a master's degree in a relevant field and prior research experience is required.To be considered for the postdoctoral associate position, a doctorate degree in a relevant field is required.
