Responsibilities and Duties Clerical duties Assisting with new hire paperwork and orientation Payroll time keeping Utilizing Excel spreadsheets Uploading QA/QC documentation Managing meeting notes Managing purchase orders Managing RFIs and Submittal paperwork Qualifications and Skills Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. An Associate's Degree is preferred but not required. Experience: At least 2 years of full-time administrative assistant related work experience is required. Previous construction industry experience is preferred but not required. Communication: good verbal and written communication skills Computer Skills: Accurate typing skills and proficient in using email, internet, spreadsheet, and word processing applications: specifically, Microsoft products (Outlook, Windows, Word, and Excel); willing to learn new software applications. Customer Service: manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments. Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills. Able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality. Experience with union staff or the construction industry is a plus. Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
