Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Online Customer Service Associate to join our team at Barnes & Noble in Jacksonville, Florida. As an Associate Level position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our online customers through various communication channels. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and helping to drive sales.

Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively- Process online orders and provide order status updates to customers- Assist customers in navigating the website and placing orders- Provide product information and recommendations to customers- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions- Identify and report any trends or issues affecting customer experience- Contribute to maintaining a positive and engaging online customer service environment

Requirements:- 4 years of experience in customer service or related field- Independent and self-motivated with a strong work ethic- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities- Ability to adapt to changing situations and customer needs- Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement- High attention to detail and accuracy- Proficiency in using online customer service platforms and tools- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
