Job Description:

Newmont Mining is seeking an experienced and driven Office Manager to join our team in a remote work capacity based in the Dallas, Texas area. This part-time position is ideal for an entry-level professional looking to gain valuable experience in office management within the mining industry.

Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate administrative duties for the remote office location- Assist with scheduling, organizing meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements for team members- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls- Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure timely reordering when necessary- Assist with coordinating company events and team-building activities- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of daily office activities- Support the HR department with onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively- Previous experience in an office management or administrative role is a plus- Must be driven, independent, and possess strong negotiation and presentation skills
