The selected candidate will work as an integral part of a comprehensive care team alongside cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, electrophysiologists, and nurses to: Provide Medical and Surgical Advanced Practitioner support with assessments, procedures, and interventions. Conduct follow-up consultation, develop discharge summaries, and provide transitional care management for congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, and arrhythmia patients. Demonstrate experience with acute myocardial infarction, intra-aortic balloon pump, impeller, postoperative bypass, and valve replacement procedures.
