Part-Time Nurse Practitioner
Privately-owned Allergy and Asthma practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis! The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. We are unique and provide personal patient care, building relationships and trust with our patients. ?Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations and diagnostic evaluation Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare providers Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as allergy testing, lab work and spirometry Administer and supervise allergy immunotherapy (allergy injections) Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice and in accordance with state regulations Provide patient education on health promotion, and prevention and management of allergic and atopic conditions Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in electronic health record systems Collaborate with a multi-level team to provide compassionate care for pediatric and adult patients. ? Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program Current certification and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Missouri Prior clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred but not required Excellent clinical assessment and interpersonal skills Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other healthcare technology Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care Ability to build rapport with both pediatric and adult patients Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturday mornings and occasional later weekday hours (till 6 pm)
