We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to deliver exceptional care and support to our large healthcare clients in Fayetteville, NC. This crucial role contributes to our mission by ensuring the health and wellbeing of patients through comprehensive medical services.
Responsibilities: Conduct and document patient history, physical examinations, and clinic visits.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and consultations to make medical diagnoses and treatment plans.
Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with legal and VHA regulations.
Perform quality control procedures, calibrate instruments, and ensure proper operation and maintenance.
Educate patients on whole health, general health behaviors, and preventative measures.
Address urgent medical situations with appropriate resuscitative measures.
Additional duties as required, including leadership roles in patient care programs.
Requirements Requirements: U.S. Citizenship or authorized to work in the U.S.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty.
At least one year of Nurse Practitioner experience.
Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
Valid U.S. nursing license.
CPR certification and ability to perform BLS and ALS procedures.
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and comply with drug screening and vaccination programs.
Qualifications: Strong clinical judgment in assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating nursing care.
Proficient in prescribing and diagnosing, with advanced knowledge of pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
Excellent teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
Commitment to continuing education and maintaining competencies in the field.
Physical Requirements: Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Must meet the physical demands outlined in the job description and pass a pre-employment physical examination.
