Located in Western Illinois, this hospital boasts an 18-bed inpatient Acute Rehab program accredited by CARF. This skilled team specializes in treating a wide range of impairments, with an emphasis on maximizing health and independence, this rehab unit provides intensive nursing care 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Key Responsibilities: Innovative Practices: Introduce and implement cutting-edge nursing practices based on evidence and best practices.Effective Communication: Foster open communication and problem-solving at both unit and organizational levels.Staff Management: Recruit, select, orient, and retain nursing staff, ensuring compliance with professional standards, regulations, and organizational policies.Budget Management: Develop, utilize, evaluate, and adjust budgets to ensure optimal resource allocation.Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering their professional development and growth.Requirements: Education: Graduate of an RN School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.Experience: Minimum 3 years of related nursing experience and 3 years of progressive nurse leadership experience.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Licensure/Certifications: Current Illinois RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing, National Nursing Leadership Certification, and Related Nursing Specialty Certification.This award-winning organization is prepared to offer the right candidate a competitve base salary and comprehensive benefits program including generous sign-on bonuses and PTO in addition to retirement matching.
