Responsibilities
• Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives• Direct the nursing assistants and ensure compliance with regulations• Plan services, programs, and activities for the shift• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents• Complete required forms and documentation• Administer medication and verify resident identity• Deliver optimum resident care and respond to needs• Consult with resident's physician• Monitor seriously ill residents• Review and confirm appropriate care is being given• Other special projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse• Current state license and CPR certification• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills• Effective verbal and written communication skills• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office• Highest level of professionalism and confidentiality• Ability to work well within a team environment• Strong attention to detail and accuracy• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to work independently and make decisions• Flexibility and adaptability to change
