As an Emergency Department Nurse you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team to provide patient care and utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement and evaluate care given to patients. 
Essential Duties:
Assigns triage category to patients and adjusts as necessary.  Observe collect and record data related to a patient's biophysical psychosocial environmental and self care ability as well as educational and discharge planning needs. Analyzes assessment data to formulate a nursing diagnosis. Measures progress toward attainment of patient outcomes and goals. Implements an age appropriate plan of care in conjunction with the physician patient patient's family and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. Administers medication to ensure patient safety. Effectively cares for psychiatric patients. Shift: Casual Part-Time, Varied

This position requires on call with a 30 minute response time.
License/Certifications:
State of Oregon RN License American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers ACLS within 3 months of hire preferred at hire PALS within 6 months of hire preferred at hire TNCC within 1 year of hire preferred at hire Experience:
Completed competencies in ED preferred Education:
