Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in our diagnostic imaging department. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures to help diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of providing high-quality healthcare to our community.Schedule: 1st shift; M-F Key Responsibilities: Perform various nuclear medicine procedures, including but not limited to SPECT scans, PET scans, bone scans, cardiac stress tests, and thyroid uptake studies. Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and in compliance with hospital protocols. Operate sophisticated imaging equipment to capture high-quality images, such as gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners. Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their comfort and safety. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to provide accurate and timely reports on imaging findings. Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedure details, and radiopharmaceutical usage. Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines and protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field. Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) with a nuclear medicine specialization. State licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Minimum of 2 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting. Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and associated software. Strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures, radiopharmaceuticals, and radiation safety protocols.
