I am currently working with a well-known food manufacturer that has been providing fresh locally processed, high-quality products for 80+ years. They are actively searching for a Night Production Supervisor to add to their leadership team at one of their largest facilities.They are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, responsible for manufacturing, efficiency, inventory, safety, maintenance for the department and shift. Assessing needs and helping to achieve company and facility goals in collaboration with other department supervisors and management.They have an excellent group of employees that are highly trained and now they are looking for a true leader.They have developed a unique schedule but set schedule that allows employees to have more work life balance.This is a 12-hour shift of 5pm to 5am on a rotating schedule of (2-2-3-3).Responsibilities include:Manage and coach the team to success, insure manufacturing productivity and efficiency for the shiftCollaborate with other night shift departmentsFollow and enforce all policies and procedures; both company and regulatorEnsure safety of all employeesTrouble shoot and work with Maintenance teamCommunicate with the Management team on shift performance and production; both planning and issue resolutionThe ideal candidate holds:2+ years of experience in management within a dairy or pasteurization facilityNeed to be highly motivated, have great communication and leadership skillsAbility to operate all equipment necessary to perform all manufacturing operationsFamiliarity working with data management programsStrong understanding of GMP's and Food Safetyleadership mindset, great communication, and driveWhat is in it for you:Competitive CompensationThe benefits are the best out there.Relocation AssistanceOpportunity to grow within a leading food manufacturerThis company is going to be selective, but they are urgently looking to fill this role.
