Nicu Registered Nurse

The Level II Nursery in North Naples is seeking a talented NICU Registered Nurse to join their team on a per diem basis. The successful candidate will independently plan, implement and evaluate nursing care to patients using standards of care, policy and procedure. They will provide direct nursing care, assume teaching and leadership responsibilities and participate in both unit committee and quality improvement activities.
The ideal candidate should have experience in NICU nursing, hold a valid Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida, and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
Participate in data collection on unit
Perform thorough admission assessment
Administer medication safely and accurately
Follow hospital policy regarding utilizing clinical pathways
Provide feedback regarding problems and complaints
The successful candidate will maintain their clinical skills and knowledge of policies, attend courses and in-services offered, and utilize security systems for infant and pediatric safety. Accepted candidates will be expected to work 12 Hour Night shifts.
