Responsibilities
• Assess physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients• Develop a care plan based on patients' disease and response to treatment• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on disease processes and symptom management• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for continuity of care• Implement, evaluate, and modify care plan• Integrate research and evidence-based knowledge into practice• Perform comprehensive nursing assessment of patients• Operate unit-specific processes and equipment• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members• Participate in New-to-Specialty RN Fellowship program activities
Requirements
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing• Current Washington State RN license• Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card• Critical thinking skills• Ability to exercise clinical judgment• Ability to organize and manage time and tasks independently• Communication skills• Ability to organize care with attention to safety and quality• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)• 2+ years of nursing experience (preferred)
