Inpatient Coverage nationally at 12 Denver hospitals, 1 Salt Lake City hospital, 1 Idaho Falls hospital, 3 San Antonio hospitals, and 1 Kansas City hospital. Teleneurology coverage at 250+ hospitals nationwide. Mean door-to-needle tPA Time of 18 Minutes. Annual stroke volume of over 1500, >30,000 encounters via telemedicine annually. About HCA Midwest Health & Centerpoint Medical Center: Centerpoint Medical Center features 285+ private rooms, 440+ physicians on the medical staff, a strong complement of subspecialists, and 1300+ staff. HCA Midwest Health Neurosciences Service Line is comprised of 13 neurologists with expertise in movement disorder, clinical neurophysiology, multiple sclerosis, and migraine subspecialties. The neurologists are vital to our care delivery team, focused on the inpatient and outpatient settings, further enhanced by 6+ advanced practice providers and a team of stroke coordinators. The service line also includes 14 neurosurgeons with a variety of subspecialty interests within the context of a general neurosurgery practice. Our program includes one comprehensive stroke center with four primary stroke centers positioned across the South Kansas City corridor. As a member of the neurosciences team, you'll be joining HCA Midwest Health, the area's largest healthcare network & private-sector employer, with 150+ locations including hospitals, outpatient centers, physician clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and an array of other services to meet the healthcare needs of the greater Kansas City area.
