The Role The Network Implementation Program Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing a wide variety of projects involving the construction of ISP and OSP facilities, buildings, road moves, etc. Oversees the construction process from conceptualization to completion including the oversight of engineers, construction supervisors, contractors, various trade workers and project managers. Effectively monitors and manages quality and completion of work and resolve issues. This position will be responsible for all aspects of Engineering and Design related to Lumen's fiber build objectives. This person will be responsible for the design portion of our network buildout in a specific market. Accurately reports on the progress of a project and updates databases as applicable to GPON. 
The Main Responsibilities Plan, schedule, coordinate, maintain and manage various projects involving the relocation, maintenance, repair, and construction of ISP and OSP facilities, buildings, road moves, etc. Oversee the construction process from conceptualization to completion and ensure that the projects meet the quality, budget, and timeline requirements. Manage and supervise engineers, construction contractors, various trade workers and project managers and provide them with guidance and support. Effectively maintain, monitor and manage the quality and completion of work and resolve any issues or problems related to Lumen's Enterprise Fiber Network. Report on the progress of the projects and update key stakeholders and applicable databases. Main Duties Design and engineer the network buildout in a specific market according to Lumen's fiber objectives, standards, and specifications. Perform site surveys, feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk assessments for the network projects. Prepare and review engineering drawings, plans, specifications, contracts, and permits for the network projects. Coordinate and communicate with internal and external parties such as customers, vendors, contractors, regulators, and utility companies for the network projects. Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, policies, and procedures for the network projects. What We Look For in a Candidate A Network Implementation Program Manager should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience, or a Master's Degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience. A Network Implementation Program Manager should have at least three years of experience in telecommunication network engineering, construction, maintenance, and repair environments. A Network Implementation Program Manager should also have project management and coordination skills, as well as strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. A Network Implementation Program Manager should be knowledgeable and able to work in appropriate telecommunication types of systems, such as CAD, GIS, and Microsoft Office. A Network Implementation Program Manager should be fluent on current approved products and technology in the telecommunication industry Compensation The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$67,340 - $89,780 in these states: AL 
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
