What we want: We're looking for an onboarding specialist who loves networking and computing to join our Managed IT (MIT) team. The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer--think Tier 2 or higher-- seeking a chance to grow their career in IT. Our dream candidate uses their nuanced understanding of networking and system administration to assess potential clients' networks and systems, and provide an explanation in lay terms of how our MIT program can improve the stability and functionality of their IT program. The candidate wants a job where two days never look the same, and each day is filled with exciting challenges. We're searching for someone who will be the initial point of contact between customers and the company, providing enthusiastic tech help delivered in a friendly and approachable way. The ideal candidate keeps careful track of deadlines, carefully manages the onboarding of new customers from start to finish, and makes sure the customer is thrilled with the outcome.

We offer: Paid Time Off Sick Days Paid Holidays 401k match + Pension Full Medical, Dental & Vision Mental health care coverage Life Insurance Local Volunteer Opportunities What you'll do: Manage new client onboarding from beginning to end Communicate clearly in technical or non-technical verbiage as the situation or audience requires Understand client needs, processes and goals Assist clients via email, text, phone and remote support session Identify ways to improve client experiences Be a great team member and problem solver Deliver a world-class client experience Required Qualifications and Expectations 3+ years' experience in system administration, network administration or other forms of IT engineering Basic knowledge of routing and switching, troubleshooting of both technologies Proficiency with popular software from vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce, Intuit, etc. Basic knowledge of Active Directory Fundamental firewall knowledge - SSL VPN creation, user accounts, etc. Ability to build a desktop from components Basic knowledge of Group Policy Solid customer service abilities including telephone skills Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relations among all levels of an organization Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to operate with changing priorities Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Gather and analyze information skillfully; Work well in group problem solving situations Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, apply feedback to improve performance, and monitor own work to ensure quality Self-starter with follow-through Current high-level industry recognized certifications are not required, but are a plus Ability to show up on time and looking professional Ability to pass to random drug tests and a background check Must have a current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as well as reliable transportation to travel to customer locations Hours: 8am-5pm, M-F, with possibility for overtime and on-call opportunities
