Our Human Services Transformation team works to help transform how our Government and Public Services clients deliver their services to customers across a variety of channels such as walk-in, mail-in, call center, and self-service applications.
We deliver large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies at the federal, state, and local government level enabling us to collaborate with clients who serve those most in need. Budget constraints paired with increased demand for human services have challenged our clients to find efficiencies, do "more with less," and rethink the way they deliver services.
Work you'll do
+ Responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks
+ Identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and decision making
+ Select the most relevant tools and techniques to meet specific client requirements; and contribute to continuous development of methods and tools
+ Manage work to work plans for components on engagements
+ Develop solutions to client problems through application of methods and tools; validate solutions to subject matter experts; and contribute to the successful realization of client goals
+ Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
Qualifications Required + Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
+ 3 + years of development experience utilizing . NET and SQL development
+ 3+ years' experience with NET MVC 5.0, webAPI/RESTful services, ASP web forms, . NET framework, and Object-Oriented Design and Programming
+ Experience with writing use cases
+ Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
+ Expected to co-locate in your designated office/ USDC location up to 30% of the time
+ Must live a commutable distance to or be willing to relocate to one of the following USDC locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA
+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred
+ Certifications in system administration, system architecture, virtualization or cloud technologies preferred.
+ Experience with JavaScript Frameworks (AngularJS, JQuery etc.)
+ Experience with responsive web design (Bootstrap, LESS )
+ Experience using source version control system such SVN , CVS , GIT .
+ Experience performing code reviews and recommending automated review tools for the project.
