Responsibilities
• Analyze requirements, write quality code, and test software• Implement medium scale solutions with guidance• Adhere to high quality development principles and deliver solutions on time• Collaborate with other developers, discuss recommendations, and implement changes• Design and implement small-scale solutions with minimal guidance• Encourage and mentor Level 1 developers• Research technical details with Business Analysts• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field• Experience: None required• Working knowledge of programming standards and enterprise-level best practices• Intermediate understanding of relational databases and writing queries• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming• Knowledge of business line(s) supported• Effective interpersonal and communication skills• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects• Ability to interpret business requirements and disseminate tasks• Ability to work independently and within a team environment• Ability to mentor less experienced developers• Ability to work outside of normal working hours and participate in on-call rotation
Key Skills Needed
• Strong BA and requirements gathering skills• Full stack developer with emphasis on front end web development• Product migration experience from Webforms to modern front-end technologies• Understanding of object-oriented programming, best practices, and patterns• Proficiency in writing code and database queries• Ability to write unit-testable code and meaningful unit tests
