Responsibilities
• Assists with fiscal agent responsibilities for Macatawa Area Express Authority (MAX)• Main fiscal contact for Holland Energy Fund• Support processing of grants• Responsible for various account reconciliations• Track on-line payments for city-wide operations• Reviews fixed asset annual purchases• Serves as a backup for cashier duties• Prepare miscellaneous journal entries• Assist with preparation of supporting documentation for the annual audit• Assist with budget preparation
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting• 2-4 years accounting experience• Interpersonal skills necessary• Proficient computer skills• Ability to make routine mathematical calculations• Mental ability to handle project pressures• Physical ability to lift and transport files
