Overview:
We're on the lookout for a driven and seasoned Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in originating, assessing, and approving mortgage loans while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Origination:
- Generate mortgage leads and maintain a pipeline of potential clients.
- Evaluate loan applications, considering credit history, income verification, and property appraisals.
- Offer expert advice on mortgage options and recommend suitable loan products.
Customer Service:
- Provide top-notch customer service throughout the loan process.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.
Compliance:
- Ensure all loan applications and documentation adhere to lending regulations and company policies.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and changes in mortgage products.
Sales and Networking:
- Foster and sustain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources.
Qualifications:
- Active NMLS license.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred, but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or similar role.
- Solid understanding of mortgage products, loan origination processes, and lending regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in loan origination software.
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
Compensation:
Competitive Compensation Plan:
