Position: Moldsetter
Location: Pardeville, WI

As the moldsetter you will be responsible for setting the molds into production presses in a safe manner. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment. You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot concerns related to production. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail.
We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with prior manufacturing experience.
What You'll Be Doing: Perform Inspections, Preventative Maintenance, and Repair of the physical plant equipment and sup Having the ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot problems and situations Obtains correct mold, preps mold, installs mold and completes mold changes Prepares lines, fill guns and hoses, runs samples in mold preparation Removes molds, inspects molds for quality, reports repair needs, prepares molds for shipment Operates press through normal cycle, performs routine maintenance on press when installing molds Can safely operate lift trucks Conducts minor mold repairs Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area Performing all duties as designated by supervisor/manager Performing all duties in support of Sonoco's quality and safety policies Helping out other departments as needed Overtime required at times We'd love to hear from you if: Posses a High school education or equivalent You have Manufacturing experience You have a "get it done" attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks Able to work independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed You are reliable, having good initiative, committed, and quality focused You will need to be able to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 49 lbs. as needed Able to pass forklift operation and safety training and obtain certification.
