Job Title: Mohs SurgeonJob Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mohs Surgeon to join our team. As a Mohs Surgeon you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating skin cancer patients using the Mohs micrographic surgery technique. You will work collaboratively with our dermatologists, pathologists, and support staff to provide comprehensive care and achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.Responsibilities:Perform Mohs micrographic surgery procedures to remove skin cancer lesions with precision and minimal tissue lossConduct preoperative consultations and evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical history and discussing treatment optionsInterpret histopathology slides to ensure complete removal of cancerous tissue during surgeryCoordinate with dermatopathologists for timely processing and analysis of tissue specimensProvide postoperative care and follow-up appointments to monitor patient recovery and outcomesEducate patients and their families about skin cancer prevention, treatment options, and postoperative care instructionsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans for complex casesQualifications:Board certification or eligibility in dermatology and/or Mohs surgeryCompletion of accredited Mohs surgery fellowship programCurrent state medical license and DEA registrationStrong surgical skills and experience in Mohs micrographic surgery techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to providing compassionate patient care and achieving optimal surgical outcomesAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity for academic involvement and researchState-of-the-art facilities and equipmentSupportive and collegial work environmentContinuing education and professional development opportunitiesIf you are a talented and dedicated Mohs Surgeon looking to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, we invite you to apply.
