OVERALL JOB PURPOSE Headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, ProCaps Laboratories a leading provider of additive-free vitamin supplements is looking for a Mixer Helper. You will be responsible for staging raw materials and assist in adding these materials into the final product batch mixer as directed by the Mixer Operator. May be assigned additional duties of operating other equipment in the mixing area as required.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS High school diploma (or equivalent)Minimum of 1 year working in a food manufacturing environmentBasic understanding of Food Manufacturing processes, tools and machinesMust be able to understand and perform following directions given, understand Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and maintain high quality workmanshipAbility to effectively communicate to employees in various positions and at all levelsMust be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demandsOTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Have the ability to understand a blending formula and best practice in staging raw materials to support blending scheduleHandling liquid and dry ingredients, moving material from raw material staging to mixer platformSelect specified ingredients for product mixing as called for by the formula/batch sheetProperly organize, use and document raw material usage in blending mixMust be able to understand and perform following directions given, understand Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and maintain high quality workmanshipMaintain accurate records Perform other job duties and responsibilities, as assignedWORK ENVIRONMENT Work occasionally near mechanical parts and energized equipment which may produce moderate to high level of noiseDuties are performed primarily in a smoke-free manufacturing environmentBENEFITS AND COMPENSATION ProCaps Laboratories provides competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes :
