Miss Lucille's Café - FOH Server Location Clarksville, TN : Miss Lucille's Cafe in Clarksville, TN is seeking a part-time, Front of House (FOH) server who is skilled and friendly individual to join our team as a Server. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You will take orders, deliver food and beverages, and maintain a clean and organized dining area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Greet Miss Lucille's Cafe guests Make menu recommendations and answer all related inquiries Check the identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age Take orders from guests and accurately send to the kitchen Record drink and food orders accurately into the POS Prepare and serve alcoholic drinks, drinks and menu items in accordance with standard recipes Upsell drink and menu items to guests Respond promptly to requests from guests in a polite and professional fashion Attempt to limit problems related to guests'' excessive drinking by following established procedures Process transactions using the POS system Prepare checks for guests Process guest payments Ensure the Cafe dining room and walkways stay clean in accordance with standards. Ensure the Cafe counter, beverage stations, and stock rooms stay tidy and in accordance to standards. Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies Balance the cash register at the start and close of each shift. To ensure that the Cafe experience culture are not compromised for any reason. Report any misconduct of patrons and/or team members to management immediately. This includes stealing, damaging games/property, and drug/alcohol use. Preferred Skill Sets:
Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with other staff Ability to perform high-quality work while unsupervised Good with math - you must be able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system High school diploma or equivalent Minimum age 18 At least one year of serving experience in a full-service restaurant is required obtain an ABC license.
