The Minorities in Sports Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to launch your career with the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC. This intensive 12-month program is your chance to gain  hands-on experience across four key departments within these world-class organizations:
Ticketing Stadium Operations Football Operations Community Engagement Through rotations across both the Panthers and Charlotte FC, you'll develop a  well-rounded understanding of the sports industry and discover your passion within the business of professional sports.
Primary Responsibilities The Tepper Sports & Entertainment Minorities in Sports Fellowship is a  unique 12-month post-graduation opportunity designed to launch your career in the heart of the Charlotte sports scene.  This immersive program will provide you with  hands-on experience across four key departments within the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC organizations:
Ticketing: Unlock the secrets of creating unforgettable fan experiences by working with group sales, PSLs (Permanent Seat Licenses), and premium seating options. You'll also gain expertise in ticketing systems and provide exceptional customer service. Stadium Operations: Go behind the scenes to ensure a seamless game day experience for all. Learn the intricacies of stadium operations, from event logistics to guest services. Football Operations: Learn from and assist football operations staff in their daily tasks while gaining experience and insight in the field of professional football. Community Engagement : Make a positive impact by supporting the Panthers' and Charlotte FC's commitment to the community. You'll collaborate on initiatives that connect the teams with fans and local organizations. Minimum Qualifications A degree to cheer about: Possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as sports management, marketing, communications, or a closely related area. Sports Enthusiast: Demonstrate a strong interest in and passion for the world of sports. Prior experience is a plus, but not required. Flexible and Dedicated: Be available to work evenings, weekends, and during Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC events, which may include nights and holidays. Licensed to Drive: Hold a valid driver's license. Ready to Pass with Flying Colors: Successfully complete all pre-employment screenings. Skills for Success Organized All-Star: Maintain excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Communication Champion: Possess strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey information. Thrives Under Pressure: Demonstrate the ability to work well in fast-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude. Fan-tastic Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service that builds positive relationships with fans and colleagues. Team Player Powerhouse: Be a reliable and dependable team player who can collaborate effectively. Physical Requirements The ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. Be comfortable walking throughout the stadium complex. Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds. Work Environment This position operates in a professional office setting, as well as, outside in the stadium facility, potentially under unpredictable or inclement weather conditions.
