Zero Harm for our employees, Community and Environment are our highest priority.PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE POSITION:Perform tire handling functions of mining equipment, including large haul truck, OTR, and light duty tires. Perform other functions and duties as assigned by the Supervisor while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect KGHM's values.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Follow safe work procedures and best practices.Be a role model to others in safe behavior.Good written and verbal skills.Have a positive attitude.Ability to prioritize, self-start, and work under limited supervision.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Willingness to perform other duties as necessary to ensure the success of KGHM. REQUIRED EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:High School Diploma or Equivalent.Valid Driver's License.PREFERRED EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:Tire Tech Certifications or equivalent work experience. 1-2 Years' experience tire maintenance. TECHNICAL SKILLS:Dismount and mount Mining & OTR tires including multi-part rims.Determine repairable tire conditions and making such repairs.Operate heavy duty tire service equipment and tools.Basic computer skills including tire and mine maintenance software is a plus.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:N/ASUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:N/APHYSICAL DEMANDS:Heavy: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
