Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and maintain heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and water treatment systems• Monitor and adjust water treatment levels in swimming pool and cooling towers• Inspect and repair piping and tubing for leaks• Update building and mechanical systems drawings• Meet with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided• Assist in inventory management and supply reordering• Transport tools, supplies, and materials to work sites• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area and equipment• Perform all work in accordance with established safety practices• Additional duties as requested by supervisory personnel
Requirements
• Read and comprehend written instructions and safety regulations• Prepare estimates and supply requisitions• Interpret complex blueprints, diagrams, and specifications• Completion of a registered apprenticeship program or minimum of five years experience at the journeyperson level• Possession of a valid state driver's license• Able to perform essential functions of the job and use tools of the trade• Pass a physical examination administered by the employer's designated physician
