About the job Operates variety of woodworking machines such as saws, milling machines, drill presses, lathes, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and wood-fastening machines to fabricate component parts for assembled products.

Your tasks ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Fabricates wood parts for assembled products by using woodworking machines.Suggests changes in procedures, standards, to facilitate work and maintain quality.Read and comprehend work orders, written and verbal instruction and blueprints; identify part numbers.Preform checks to ensure equipment is in safe and working order; report discrepancies to department leadership.Uses gauges and other devices to verify conformity to stands of product being fabricated.Maintains good housekeeping in the workstation by following 5S standards and procedures.Complies with all safety and environmental requirements and reports all discrepancies to management.
