Responsibilities
• Create a safe, purposeful classroom environment• Collaborate with other teachers and partners• Assess students and determine next steps for instruction• Meet the needs of all students, including special needs and ELL students• Build relationships and communicate with students and families• Engage in learning about issues of racism and diversity• Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
• Experience teaching Special Education at middle/high school level preferred• License in appropriate content/program area and grade level required• Experience as an active anti-racist or equity advocate preferred• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred• Bachelor's degree required
